When you get waxed, the hair is gone — but what about the skin underneath? Your post-wax care routine can make all the difference in keeping your skin smooth, bump-free, and comfortable. At Pure Waxing, I offer several amazing treatments that you can add on after your wax to take your results to the next level.

Here are some of my top post-wax treatments clients love:

1. Vajacial — A Facial for Your Bikini

A vajacial is basically a facial treatment tailored for your intimate area. It’s designed to soothe irritation, soften and gently extract existing ingrown hairs, smooth out texture, and provide deep hydration with skin-loving ingredients like hyaluronic acid and aloe vera. The treatment includes a gentle cleanse, a soothing hydrogel mask, and extractions if needed. The service is finished with Bushbalm's ingrown hair oil to soothe the skin, calm irritation, and help prevent future ingrowns.

It’s perfect for anyone who gets Brazilian waxes or struggles with redness, bumps, or dryness.

At Pure Waxing, most clients get their vajacial right after their wax appointment — making it a convenient, all-in-one pampering session that leaves skin feeling smooth, soothed, hydrated, and refreshed.

2. Hair Did It Go Serum

If you’re looking to slow down hair regrowth and keep your skin smoother longer, Hair Did It Go Serum is a game changer. It’s an activated gel enzyme that’s freshly mixed at your waxing appointment for maximum effectiveness.

After your wax, apply the serum regularly to the waxed area over the next 48 hours, using up the entire bottle during that time.

Important: While using this serum, avoid applying any other products—including body wash, lotions, or exfoliants—on the treated area to allow it to work effectively.

When you come back for your next waxing appointment (usually in about 4 weeks), you can pick up a fresh bottle to keep the routine going.

Most clients see the best results after 5 to 10 treatments, which gradually reduces hair growth and irritation over time. It’s gentle, effective, and works seamlessly with your waxing schedule to keep your skin smooth and comfortable.

3. Cooling Hydrogel Vajacial Mask with Bushbalm

Waxing can sometimes leave your skin red and irritated — that’s why I use the Bushbalm Cooling Hydrogel Vajacial Mask after treatments. This soothing mask calms redness, reduces inflammation, and deeply hydrates sensitive areas like the bikini line and underarms. You’ll feel a difference in as little as 10 minutes!

Once the mask is removed, I perform gentle extractions to clear any stubborn ingrown hairs or bumps — helping your skin stay smooth and bump-free.

4. Exfoliating Boost

Exfoliation is key to preventing ingrown hairs and keeping your skin smooth between waxes. I carry a curated selection of gentle scrubs and chemical exfoliants and nourishing oils and body wash--including Bushbalm's Roller Rescue, Oversized Radiant Toner Pads--to help clear away dead skin, reduce irritation, and improve absorption of my soothing, all-natural hydrating oils. Regular exfoliation and moisturizing help keep bumps, ingrowns, and irritation at bay.

5. Soothing Serum and Hydration

For those with dry or reactive skin, a soothing serum followed by a hydration layer locks in moisture and calms any inflammation. This is a perfect add-on especially after hard wax sessions or if your skin tends to feel tight afterward.

Why Add Post-Wax Treatments?

Waxing is the first step to smooth skin, but the best results come when you care for your skin afterward. These treatments help reduce redness, prevent ingrowns, slow hair regrowth, and give your skin some extra TLC. Plus, they make your waxing experience feel like a mini spa day!
